Winning Poet’s Winning Poem – Rethabile Zilila
(In the Spirit of Solomon)
Loss sets in like something new,
Carrying the ghost of you
Like a shadow I must wear
Each time the sun runs for cover.
So, how dare you creep up on me like that?!
Is it your intention to trip my heart every time
It masters the sprint of loving you?

But you are hell bent on leaving me
Bare,
I am searching for my pride
Among the race at Shimla,
But when kicks come beg...
